Melissa Plunkett

Melissa Plunkett is a Managing Director and Head of High Grade Municipal Trading at BofA Securities, a team that includes institutional, retail and algorithmic trading.  She joined Bank of America in 2007 and has over 25 years of experience trading municipal bonds and other fixed income products.  Prior to joining the firm, Melissa traded at Lehman Brothers and HSBC.

Melissa graduated from the University of Virginia in 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts in American Government and Foreign Affairs.  At the University of Virginia, Melissa was a member of the Field Hockey Team and Captain of the Women’s Lacrosse Team.  She competed in 5 Final Fours and three National Championships.

She lives in Bronxville, NY with her husband and four children.  Melissa is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Bronxville Youth Lacrosse Association.  She spends her weekends coaching and cheering on her children, and playing golf and tennis in her spare time.
