Megan Poplowski - MFS Investment Management

Megan Poplowski is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and the Co-Director of Municipal Research at MFS Investment Management.  In this role, she is responsible for buy and sell decisions, portfolio construction, risk assessment, and cash management across a suite of municipal bond funds.  In addition, Megan co-manages a team of investors responsible for research and security selection within the municipal space.  Prior to joining MFS in 2015, Megan worked for seven years as a Vice President-Senior Municipal Bond Analyst at Eaton Vance Management focusing on healthcare, higher education, transportation, and monoline insurance.  Megan has also held analytical positions at Moody’s Investors Service, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, and the City of New York’s Office of Management and Budget.  She is a past President of the Boston Municipal Analysts Forum and a former Officer of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, of which she remains a member.  Megan earned a B.A. from Holy Cross College and an MPA from New York University.
