Daniela Durao, Team Leader and Senior Municipal Bond Evaluator at Bloomberg

Daniela Durao, is Team Leader and Senior Municipal Bond Evaluator for Bloomberg's Evaluated Pricing Service (BVAL), which provides objective and independent valuations to approximately 1 million municipal bonds.

In this role, Daniela oversees the team of municipal evaluators who cover tax exempt and taxable municipal bonds along with the BVAL AAA curve.  This team provides objective and independent valuations of Municipal Securities for BVAL. Daniela was named to this role in 2015. She joined Bloomberg in 2006 and has been instrumental in developing BVAL’s Municipal Pricing Model since inception.  

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Daniela was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch Asset Management. Daniela is an expert in the municipal market with the know-how to drive consistent pricing for municipal bonds.

She earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Rutgers University and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgian Court College.
