Michelle Hallam

Michelle Hallam is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager in the Municipal Strategies Team at JP Morgan Asset Management, where she is responsible for mutual funds, ETFs, and fixed income portfolios for insurance companies. In addition to her tax-exempt portfolio management responsibilities, Michelle is the taxable muni lead PM, where she and her team provide advice and execution for broad market strategies as it relates to taxable munis.

Michelle previously worked as an analyst in the JPMAM’s U.S. Institutional Fixed Income Group. She began her career as an analyst in the Internal Consulting Services program, where she worked on projects in Investment Management and Financial Risk Management. Michelle holds a B.S. in economics from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder.
